-Italy is still great.
-Italian food is even greater.
-The island of Capri exceeded my expectations.
-Pompeii is a bit over-rated.
-I seem to meet Torontonians no matter where I go in the world.
-I don t want vacation to end. Back to life, back to reality in 10 days… No bueno.
-The back to reality situation is aggravated because- SURPRISE!- I just received an email from my landlord in Hong Kong telling me that they ve sold the flat that I was renting and I need to move out by September 14.
-Which gives me less than a month to find (a decent, affordably priced, clean, centrally located, brand-new bathroom and kitchen) flat. In HONG KONG. Where rents are astronomical.
-Which is virtually impossible.
-Which gets a major thumbs down from me.
-Which can also be be represented onomatopea-cally by the following: WOMP WOMP!
-Which explains my dream/nightmare last night of searching in vain for said apartment.
-Which again gets a major thumbs down with me.

At least I ve still got Italian pizza, and sea-views to keep me distracted (while awake) from my moving woes.
